What is Capacity?

Capacity is the maximum possible output in a given amount of time using available resources. Often, museums try to increase the amount of output (programs, collections, exhibitions, etc) without an increase in available resources. Capacity-building is learning how to be more efficient at being effective. Short version: Capacity is understanding what resources you have to to the right things right.
