Museums often place internal organization and efficiency last. What if, by spending a little bit more time attending to internal operations, we could be of greater service? Plan ahead. Start right. Exceed expectations.
I offer collaboration and partnerships primarily in the areas of museum collections, organizational strategic planning and implementation, leadership development, and program evaluation.
Capacity is the maximum possible output in a given amount of time using available resources. Often, museums try to increase the amount of output (programs, collections, exhibitions, etc) without an increase in available resources. Capacity-building is learning how to be more efficient at being effective. Short version: Capacity is understanding what resources you have to to the right things right.
